POLICIES & PROCEDURES
Students in grades K - 5th visit the media center with their classes for a 30 minute story time/checkout every other week. The goal of this time is to encourage and promote literacy. Students also learn the media center procedures and how to care for books. Books are checked out for a two-week period, and with only a few exceptions, may be renewed. Kindergarten and first grade students may check out one book and students in grades 2-5 may checkout two books for class assignments and recreational reading once all previous materials have been returned.
Parents are encouraged to apply for our school's library card to check out extra materials for their children.
The C.M.E. Media Center has open checkout during normal school hours. Students may exchange library books on any day of the school week.
